Onsite Data Collections

Remote Data Collections

Modus technicians assist clients in performing remote data collections using a collections toolkit that allows the client to perform a live, forensically sound acquisition of data from a targeted computer.

Step by Step

Modus forensically certified technicians design and implement the collection process from beginning to end. Information is gathered concerning the data, access strategies and where it is stored. Data collections are then identified as being targeted or inclusive and Modus consultants will guide the client through the available procedures.

Post Data Collection

All collected data safely and securely transported to Modus facility in hard-case containers designed to protect against temperature changes, physical shock and electrostatic discharge. Data transfer is recorded and documented in Chain of Custody logs to ensure all data and media are accounted for at all times. Media is housed in Modus’ secure media library.
